Spiderqueen-Hero-TD is a Towerdefence for Warcraft 3.
The story:
The forest clearance caused by Orcs and Human, left no more living space for the folk of spiders, one day. So the spiders went out, attacked human villages, destroyed their houses and fed the citizens.
Some very powerful human mages were able to prison the giant Spiderqueen into a cathereal, where it is still kept inside. But the queen send a call to all foresters to free her and make the wood their own again. To break the human made seal, that keeps the Spiderqueen inside, every creature has to sacrifice itself infront of the cathedral and so hundreds of animals, beasts and even Orcs and Undead, that follow their own plans in the war against humans, followed the queen's call, setting off the the cathedral.
When the humans saw this array, they send their best warriors and builders to the Spiderqueen's prison trying to defeat those hordes, trying to keep the Spiderqueen banned there forever.
Now it's up to you. Coose a hero, build towers, move through dungeons and find items to stop every incomimg creature or at least the Spiderqueen itself.
So what makes Spiderqueen-Hero-TD different from other TDs?
The aim is to boost your hero, preparing him for a final fight with the mighty, giant Spiderqueen. To succeed, you may not use your towers to kill the incoming creatures, but rather to weaken them so your hero is finally able to kill this units. You have to do so, because your hero cannot remain near your towers, he stays in a small area - that he can't leave - where every creature will arrive after passing your towers.
Some towers are equal to those you know from other TDs, if there is the slowtower, guardtower or splashtower for example. But there are also some new towers, like the summon tower or the training tower. The training tower for instance summons randomly choosen, not equipollent creatures, that are moved into your hero-training-ground directly. Defeating those units will give you some gold, expierience and they might drop powerful items too.
There are also a lot of special rounds, never seen in any other TD. Sure there are air-units or magic immunes coming too, but you will also come in situations, where you have to fight all units you saw the last 10 rounds in a very short time. You will be send to a dungeon, where strong units reside - everyone might drop a useful or even very powerful item for your hero.
You will have to decide weather you ally with other players or better fight the enemies allone. You will also have to think very carefully of what kind ot tower you build or upgrade and especially when you do it.
And there is the option to hire merenaries, that neither support your towers or you hero with powerful spells, auras and attacks.
Finally you will have various game modes available, all having their advantages and disadvantages. Multiplayer Normal Mode is always automatically set at the start of a new game. All creatures of a given color will pass the towers and the hero of one player only. This is the fastest mode and it is not too hard to succeed. But you will miss some features you might have in other modes.
